Born of the desire to do something a bit different; Salvador 6 bring together disparate influences - jazz mixes with movie sound-tracks, and bossa-nova beats blend with trip-hop basslines. Add a bit of drum & bass and a few township grooves and you start to get the Salvador sound.

The song-writing sets the band apart too - no single musician writes the tracks. Instead tunes are built around grooves jammed and recorded in rehearsals. These are spliced and diced, reassembled into songs and learnt by the band.
